Evidence shows that women and birthing people who attend Antenatal Classes have greater self-efficacy in the birthing process and have realistic expectations around labour, birth and the early post natal days. As a result, you’re more likely to reflect positively on your pregnancy and birth.
Our Antenatal Classes are light-hearted, fun and enjoyable even though we are covering some very important and often anxiety provoking topics.
As well as sharing information about labour, birth and infant feeding, our Midwife Led Antenatal Classes will also guide you through how to navigate the maternity system, understand informed consent, discuss what it may look like to birth outside of guidelines and prepare you for parenthood.
Hi, my name is Amy...
I’m a qualified midwife with over five years experience and have had the privilege of supporting families in a variety of settings.
Working in the NHS, I have facilitated home births and am currently part of a continuity of care team offering women clinical care and emotional support from their booking appointment, during labour and up to one month post birth.

We are located between Wimborne and Verwood, catering also to families in Alderholt, Ringwood and all the surrounding towns and villages.
