Welcome
If you’re looking for a midwife who values your choices, listens to your needs, and is committed to helping you have a positive and empowering pregnancy, birth and post-natal experience, I’d love to hear from you.
About Amy
Hi, I'm Amy, a qualified midwife, with a first class degree and over five years experience.
I have had the privilege of supporting families in a variety of settings. I have facilitated home births and worked with obstetric emergency training teams. Currently I work in an NHS continuity of care team offering women clinical care and emotional support from their booking appointment through to discharge at one month post birth.
Furthermore, I am BFI (Baby Friendly Initiative) trained and thoroughly enjoy helping women to meet their infant feeding goals.
As part of my journey into midwifery, I worked in India supporting pregnant women in socio-economically deprived areas. There, I helped women navigate the complexities of pregnancy, childbirth, and infant feeding in very challenging circumstances.
This experience reinforced my commitment to ensure that every woman, regardless of her background or culture, has access to compassionate, quality care.

Whether this is your first baby or you're adding to your family, I want to help you build a positive experience around your pregnancy and birth
As a mother to two wonderful children, I understand the challenges and delights of becoming a mother and the emotional journey of matrescence; the transformation to motherhood. After giving birth to my first child in India, I started a blog and wrote a colomn in a magazine, this developed a network which enabled new mums to connect and share their experiences.
This led to the creation of a thriving mother and baby group, where we could offer mutual support and guidance to one another.
Through all of my experiences, my goal has remained the same: to ensure that you feel supported, understood, and empowered in your own birth story.
I’m here to help you not only learn about your newborn, but also discover and embrace your "newborn self."
